Straight Up Maintenance – New to the area and we had already tried a couple of local repair shops that did not impress me. Found Nelms was just down the road with many positive reviews. We have taken our vehicles there a few times already and have appreciated the prompt, straight up maintenance. When a shop tells me what I “don’t need”, that’s a sign of a quality shop. They assess the condition of the vehicle and even if there is a questionable item give consideration to weather it is worth throwing money at a vehical that may not be worth it. This is a shop with common sense and not looking to drain your finances with one visit but instead look for return business. The shop is clean (more important than you think)and the work is solid. Nelms will be my new place for repairs and hope to stay with them for years to come. Until I relocated I had a shop that I stayed with for 20 years. Nelms is very similar to the shop I had to leave and that is what I liked about them. We are looking to replace one of our vehicals and they even told us what to watch out for regarding a specific model.

You Will Be Pleased – After an exhaustive search, I selected Nelms Automotive to install a new Tremec transmission; fuel pump and dyno tune the engine in my 1966 Corvette. After several hundred miles I continue to be impressed with the work done by the Nelms team. My selection was based on a friend’s recommendation, and the impression the work would be done right the first time.
